Pros
Aside from the Unlimited PTO (which is difficult to take since we're all overworked), there isn't much to be happy about here. Commiserating is the only positive thing we have. The people in the trenches care about each other and it is the only reason this company is still afloat.
Cons
C-Level leadership basically pats themselves on the back each quarter completely out of touch and oblivious to what's happening. Upper management is a joke. They value the number of developers over quality, hiring mostly inexperienced contractors that have to be brought up to speed only to leave in a few months. They think they can put inexperienced developers on enterprise-level software that Fortune 500 companies use. The good-ole-boy mentality other reviews mention is legit. So much nepotism in this company. Hiring upper positions from outside the company rather than promoting those that helped build it. We have lost so much product knowledge over the last few months, it's a surprise any one knows what is going on.
