Pros

Strada Education Network has done a lot to reinvent itself in the last few years and has moved down a path to create a sustainable business model. Over the past several years there has been a lot of change but this was necessary for operating in a different business climate. The internal change has now lessened. Strada is an excellent place to work. Salaries, employee benefits, the new corporate headquarters, are all BIG pluses on working there. Furthermore, it's mission is something all employees can passionately buy into and become part of the solution for our nation's post-secondary population.

Cons

Strada is still operating in a position of growth and building a re-invented company. Experimentation and trial and error are a part of this process. This is a natural part of such a process. If you are a person that wants assurance that your role and position will not fluctuate, change or possibly even be removed, then maybe this is not the place for you.

Pros

• well-adjusted responsive staff • living wage paying internship • workload doesn’t feel terrible • tons of connections from grounded executive leadership

Cons

•regular corporate workplace matters, but they’re normally handled quite well •they’re back on forth on whether they hire interns afterwards and leaning more towards no in general

Pros

I'm surrounded by brilliant, hard working people at Strada who care about making a difference in higher education / employment in the US. And I typically work less than 50 hours per week. And for a non-profit, you will rarely find better pay / benefits.

Cons

We're still finalizing our strategy, so sometimes decisions are slow to get made / it's unclear who has the authority to make them. But there aren't shareholder or anything, so it's best we get them right rather than rush.
