Pros

* Flexible WFH arrangement that really supports work-life balance. * Solid teammates — collaboration within the team is generally strong and reliable. * Dedicated budget for L&D and bonding, with freedom for the team to choose what’s most relevant. * Interesting business and product vision in the growing Web3 industry. * Allowances and benefits are fairly comprehensive (insurance, glasses, dental, maternity, internet). * Some managers do set good alignment and support growth (though this really depends on who you get).

Cons

* Your experience heavily depends on your manager’s quality — Not all managers focus on helping you grow in your career — some are better at managing upward than leading their people, many people managers lack the skills to truly develop their team. * Career progression is inconsistent; managers often get promoted/highlighted while their teams are left behind. * Don’t expect regular salary increments (even just to match inflation) unless your manager happens to fight for you. * Company direction often shift — what’s “top priority” today can easily change tomorrow. * OKRs sometimes don’t reflect reality, with sudden requests from top management that weren’t part of the original plan. * Cross-team alignment is not always smooth, and misalignment can spill over to other teams.

Pros

Genuine focus on growth: Unlike places that just talk about "upskilling" in brochures, the environment here actually backs it up. There is a very real push to help you grow both as a professional and as an individual. If you’re looking to stretch your capabilities, the support is there. Welfare isn't an afterthought: It’s rare in the fintech/Web3 world to find a company that actually advocates for employee wellbeing, but StraitsX does. The culture feels sustainable rather than just a "burnout" shop. Open and collaborative layout: The office is designed for discussion. Because it’s an open concept, you aren’t siloed off. It makes it incredibly easy to chat with leadership or hop into a brainstorm with other teams without the usual corporate red tape. Exciting pace: It’s fast, but for a good reason. Because the Web3 requirements and the regulatory landscape are always shifting, the company evolves quickly. It keeps the work interesting and ensures you’re always at the literal forefront of digital finance.

Cons

Definitely not a place where you can just coast through by being just enough. Because the Web3 space moves so fast and the company is constantly evolving, you have to be comfortable with change. If you prefer a highly predictable 9-to-5 where nothing ever changes, you might find the pace a bit intense.

Pros

The team is collaborative, supportive, and open to feedback. There are plenty of opportunities to work on impactful fintech products and solve complex design problems. People are generally approachable, and cross-functional collaboration with product and engineering is strong. The company encourages ownership and continuous learning, making it a great environment for professional growth.

Cons

As with many fast-growing companies, priorities can shift quickly, which sometimes leads to changing requirements or tight timelines. Some internal processes and documentation could be more standardized to improve efficiency and help new team members ramp up faster.
