Pros

If you are one of the handful of people who worked there before they spun off from a now competitor, chances are pretty good you're safe.

Cons

If you are NOT one of the core members you are subject to dismissal due to a change in strategy. In the three years I know of they have annually changed their sales model. First it was to focus on outside solution sales to SCL companies, then it was targeting healthcare and then it came to building an inside sales/online model. There is a sincere lack of leadership and accountability by senior management.

Strategic Mobility Group Response

Thank you for taking the time to provide us your feedback, we apologize for the delay in our response. At Strategic Mobility Group (SMG3) our employee’s satisfaction is one of the highest priorities in our organization and we believe it shows both inside and outside of our organization. Addressing the “Cons” portion of your evaluation, SMG3’s Supply Chain Logistics (SCL) business celebrated its 8th consecutive year of double-digit year-over-year growth in sales at the first of the year and this continues to be part of our service offerings. Along with SCL, in March of 2019 our Healthcare division was proud to announce the successful and much anticipated launch of the new SMG3RX.com website. Prior to the launch of SMG3RX.com, healthcare products were exhibited and featured on Strategic Mobility Group’s SMG3.com and BarcodingStore.com websites. At SMG3 the idea of an Inside sales/online model has never been a primary nor secondary part of the SMG3 business model. While we offer the ability to purchase products online at BarcodingStore.com, our Inside Sales teams focus on growing greenfield accounts with the goal of advancing to outside sales. We are proud to say that this program has been a success and has helped to cultivate some great salespeople. With regards to the “Advice to Management” feedback, we would like to reassure you that while not every associate is aware of all the intricacies and long-term strategies our management team is a part of, SMG3 has continued to embrace our open-door policy and offer timely announcements keeping all members of our team informed. It is for these reasons and the dedication to “Be the Good” in our industry that SMG3 has changed substantially since our inception in 2011, increasing our headcount by over 400% and changing the way we do business, improving our processes and creating career growth opportunities for those individuals who want to grow within our fast-paced organization. In closing, if you would like to share more about your experiences with SMG3, please feel free to contact our Human Resources Department. Thank you again for the feedback, it will help continue to better SMG3! We look forward to hearing from you. - HR Department. Strategic Mobility Group
