Unclear Expectations Made the Job Frustrating - Analyst Strategic Resolution Experts (SRE Inc.) Employee Review

Pros

The work had potential to be interesting.

Cons

It wasn’t always clear what was expected, which made things harder than they needed to be. Tasks would come in without much context, so you’d spend time figuring out what to do before even starting. Then sometimes expectations would shift halfway through. That kind of back-and-forth got old quickly. Just felt like there wasn’t a clear direction most of the time.

Pros

The only Pro is REMOTE work possibility.

Cons

Where do I even start? Hired under false pretenses — the salary I was promised turned out to be fiction. Within months, the company claimed it had hit "hard times" and pushed for pay cuts across the board to “save jobs.” At least you felt better about taking a pay cut if it would save jobs - Right? A month later, they started layoffs anyway. Did they restore salaries? Of course not. Instead, the owner took a month-long trip to EUROPE - but promised that they would "Consider" restoring salaries once things improved. Another month goes by, and suddenly they’re on a hiring spree again — apparently, money isn’t so tight when it comes to bringing in new people.'' AVOID AT ALL COSTS. The staff are genuinely kind, but the company’s leadership and culture are beyond dysfunctional. It feels like swimming in a toilet bowl full of nice people — you appreciate the company, but it doesn’t make the situation any less disgusting. In one year, they had three rounds of layoffs. They’d even rehire people after letting them go, only to repeat the cycle later. Total chaos. Completely unstable. Big red flag. Run away. Even a $30K pay increase above your current salary - is not enough. Trust. Oh, and I can’t forget — roughly 45 project managers for every 1 person who does actual work. So micro-management is astronomical. Enough said.
