Pros

- Nice Coworkers - Wearable space - Close to Caltrain

Cons

Let's review some facts here - Extremely high employee turn over. It appears new batch of employees start every 8-10 months as older employees tend to leave every 8-10 months - Don't believe these 5 star reviews as either they are created by company or management who is a problem to begin with. - I was swept away during interview by sweet talks by management and I was certain I made a right choice by joining but I am ashamed to admit it was the worst decision of my life - I have never worked at company where management makes employee depressed, sad or make them cry. Yes I have seen few people cry after their 1:1 - Everyday is a new day but ends same by you being sad, angry or depressed so your personal life might be affected. - Pay is low and stress is extreme

Pros

CEO has excellent product instincts and execution. He was able to create an environment to get products out quickly and on time. Prepare for an intense, drink from firehose type workplace.

Cons

Expect to get a lower than market salary (but receive stock options).

Pros

You'll wear all the hats. There's actual opportunity for advancement, and you're surrounded by people who care about what they do. Nobody does the insane 90 hour crunch weeks as a habit, and that's not expected or encouraged. This isn't perk central, but as far as insurance/benefits go, you're looking at packages you'd expect from a much larger company (including the employee discount package for stuff like movie tickets/destinations, etc... that you'd get at Cisco), and there are (almost) always snacks/sandwich makings/soda in the fridge.

Cons

You'll wear all the hats. This is definitely a start-up, with all the good and bad that comes with it. If you have a skill that's not your primary function, you will most likely to be called on to use it. More transparency is always good, but in this case it's not information being intentionally hidden, it's just that there are so many balls in the air that information can take a long time to get where it needs to go, and deadlines can suddenly appear out of nowhere.
