Pros

Working directly with the CEO and CFO of Strive as an advisor on Product + Marketing (late 2021 - Present) Both were receptive, introspective, and quick to execute. The whole team has extreme ownership with soliciting feedback, implementing necessary changes, and experimenting with how to succeed in a new market. The humble hustle is real. Product: The data and insights revealed by Strive shorts makes a strong difference in athletic performance--both amateur and elite. I was able to make massive changes to improve my muscle usage distribution after only a few sessions. Industry: I’ve watched the company mature rapidly in a short time. The industry is aware of their services--seems like Strive announces a new signed contract weekly.

Cons

For future employees: The team is still learning/growing about consumer market needs. Responsive to user research and feedback, but this takes time to adapt to existing UX. In the process of shortening their time from idea to lightweight experiment.

Pros

Very thankful to have the opportunity to work at STRIVE. The product is truly amazing. Being into health and fitness made it easy to fall in love with a product in this space. The team is awesome and everyone knows one another since it is a smaller team (About 30 people). The CFO is funny and brings good energy, which makes meetings more interesting. Both the CEO and CFO seem to have a lot of passion for the product and the company, and are very transparent. They've also always encouraged us to share our thoughts and ideas, creating a supportive and collaborative company culture. I’ve seen many of my ideas implemented quickly, which makes working here that much more rewarding and makes me feel like a valid member of the team.

Cons

- It is a startup up so it is a little fast paced which might be an issue for some looking for an easy day. – The majority of employees are either on the east or west coast. I personally love the remote aspect but this might be a con for those looking for an in office experience (unless of course you are in Seattle where the headquarters are located). – Time zone: Love starting my day later and feel I have time in the morning since I’m on the east coast but the hours might not be ideal for others on the east coast.
