Pros

You’ll learn how much mental exhaustion a person can endure before burning out completely

Cons

Where do I begin? - Zero structure, zero boundaries, and absolutely no respect for employees’ time. “Work-from-home” here translates to always available, always on call. - Leadership is reactive, not supportive. Concerns about certain seniors are ignored entirely. One senior constantly dumps her own tasks on others, micromanages to a painful degree, and thrives on criticism rather than collaboration. - Management loves to talk about “ownership” but takes none themselves. - Salary is routinely delayed. When questioned, you’ll be told “that’s how the company works.” Some of us have bills to pay, apparently, that’s too much to expect. - Mental health? Forget it. The constant chaos, unrealistic deadlines, and lack of empathy make this one of the most draining experiences you can have.

Pros

I have had the opportunity to work with some of the biggest luxury hospitality brands through Strobe Works, which has been a great learning experience. One of the biggest advantages is that the agency doesn't just handle social media and marketing but also executes photoshoots, making it easier to bring creative ideas to life seamlessly. The exposure across multiple premium hotel brands, campaigns, shoots, and marketing functions has helped me develop a broader understanding of hospitality marketing. The team is supportive, approachable, and always willing to collaborate, which creates a positive working environment. What I appreciate most is the amount of ownership and responsibility given to team members. If you're willing to take initiative, there are plenty of opportunities to learn, grow, and work on impactful projects.

Cons

1-Fast-paced environment can sometimes lead to tight deadlines. 2-Managing multiple clients requires strong prioritization skills. 3-Processes continue to evolve as the agency grows.
