Pros
I really enjoyed my time at SSL and benefitted from being part of some huge projects. My colleagues were great, and always willing to help out. The senior management team were engaging and visible, often coming to visit whilst siteworks were ongoing. Training and upskilling were available and during my time I got to undertake a fair number of external courses which unlocked opportunities to work on complex projects that I may not have had the chance to otherwise.
Cons
Towards the end of my time with SSL we were becoming spread a bit too thin resulting in a fair bit of churn. Also felt slightly underappreciated following our efforts to keep working during the pandemic. Progression within the company can also take time.
