Pros

Free coffee Pub across the street Good food nearby

Cons

Management is a dictatorship Extremely misogynistic - I felt that I was treated like a "woman" and not like an employee, men were often given the better roles and a lot of women in the office get the "woman" type jobs - answering phones, customer service, "face" jobs - where the men got the desk ones that paid much higher. EVERYONE will backstab you, even the HR who "career counsels" you. They sell you out if you tell them you want to work for a different department even if it's in the same company, and then question your loyalty Extremely racist towards non-Australians (comments around the office) and often treated non-Australian workers very poorly Workers bullied each other just to not be "wrong" - you'd see this with other departments often and they'd report you for doing your job, but report it in a way that made it look like you weren't helping them specifically, you wouldn't hear about it until your review and then had to come up on the spot why you answered their question a certain way - - which is impossible It's been 3 years since I've worked here and I still remember how horrible this place was. I'm so thankful I have a good environment now, but someone asked me "what was the worst place you ever worked?" and this company immediately came to mind.

Pros

If looking for a fun, energetic, supportive and professional environment, then you can't go past SACO. The workplace culture is genuinely positive – people are collaborative, approachable, and always willing to help each other succeed. We have strong Leaders and managers who are approachable, transparent, and open to feedback. And let's not forget we have AWESOME brands

Cons

Like any workplace, there are always opportunities to improve processes as the business grows, but overall, it’s a great place to build your career with strong support and opportunities for development.
