Pros
-A dedicated team of college counselors who are committed to helping their students, but also work collaboratively to help each other. -Pay is good for a CBO. -Many opportunities for outside PD. -Monthly team meetings on site with lunch provided.
Cons
-Long hours, but it's pretty much required for this type of work. -Deliverables are hard to meet sometimes depending on the culture of your particular school. High expectations of the counselor. -Health insurance is currently not great.
