Pros

The snacks are the only real perk.

Cons

This is the most toxic workplace I’ve experienced. Teams are divided along national lines, which makes it very difficult for anyone outside those groups to succeed. Management is often unprofessional, and the internal politics are draining. There is little room for creativity, as the same designs are repeatedly reused. Unfortunately, success here seems to depend more on tolerating unhealthy behavior and excessive flattery than on skill or merit.

Pros

Office snacks and occasional small perks

Cons

I worked at the firm for a period of time and gained exposure to a variety of projects, which helped me develop technical skills and learn about the workflow of architectural practice. For someone early in their career, the pace and project variety can provide a steep learning curve. However, the work environment was difficult. Management behavior was often unprofessional, and there was a culture of backbiting and internal conflict that made the workplace feel uncomfortable and unstable. The leadership structure, including close family involvement in management decisions, sometimes created tension and a lack of clear professional boundaries. Another challenge was the expectation of significant overtime without compensation. Long hours were often treated as normal rather than exceptional, which made maintaining work-life balance difficult. Overall, you may gain technical experience here, but the workplace culture can come at the cost of morale and professional dignity.
