Pros
This was honestly one of the best experiences, if not the best, that I have had in my college years. I learned so much and was able to really feel a solid contribution to the team I was working on. There wasn't one employee that you passed by who wasn't friendly and kind. The company camaraderie was really strong, and I think it is a huge contributor to the success the company and separate teams are able to achieve. The intern program was very structured and gave us all a chance to get to know each other and other staff members, and learn from staff members in weekly intern seminars. I also appreciated being able to sit in on team and company meetings, it really helped myself and other interns to feel like we were integrated into the company. The environment felt low-pressure in the sense that I had time to complete projects accurately, and I always felt comfortable asking for help/guidance as well as reaching out to staff on other teams to hear more about what they do. They have a high return rate of interns who end up working full-time, which says a lot about the history of the intern program and the company overall. I would recommend it to anyone who is looking to get their foot in the door in the digital media, pr, content distribution, and/or multi-platform services space. Another bonus is that they cover parking fees!
Cons
Really can't think of any.
