Pros

The staff is very nice, although it does seem disingenuous at times. This is contracted work so you can essentially set your own hours

Cons

You get paid based off how many notes you collect, so they encourage their employees to lie to people about how they get paid, in order to acquire notes for free. I was literally told, "Tell people who you're trying to get notes from that you just get paid hourly, or you need the notes to keep your job. That way they won't ask for any money in return." So my job was really just ripping off college kids, something I realized early on and was the main reason I quit. EXTREMELY OVERBEARING. Multiple messages a day, often times repeating the same message asking how I was doing as far as acquiring notes. Weekly meetings, which you are fired for if you cannot make. Was told I'd be paid within 10 business days for delivering my notes. After more than 3 weeks and several complaints I quit, as I could tell the company had no intention of paying me. They would simply give me "karma," which is used to buy other notes instead of cash, then pretended it was an unfixable error. I eventually threatened to sue, and then the money appeared in my account within 2 hours. When you have an issue, the staff will get back to you very quickly with a message that sounds like they're working hard to correct the issue. However, they don't actually do anything to fix your problem.

Pros

The flexibility in creating study materials and the ability to assist students is highly rewarding. The platform allows SMEs like me to work remotely, which is a major perk. The compensation is fair, and there's a strong sense of community within the team.

Cons

While the work is generally fulfilling, there can be occasional challenges with tight deadlines and the need for high-quality content consistently.
