Pros

The flexibility in creating study materials and the ability to assist students is highly rewarding. The platform allows SMEs like me to work remotely, which is a major perk. The compensation is fair, and there's a strong sense of community within the team.

Cons

While the work is generally fulfilling, there can be occasional challenges with tight deadlines and the need for high-quality content consistently.

Pros

I joined Studysoup mid-semester at the beginning of this year and was able to squeeze in all the requirements for maximum payout for one course. I was a little wary of the company after having read some reviews on here but they have exceeded my expectations. After exams I was always paid within 48 hours (usually within 24) and whenever I had questions I texted them and they got back the same day without exception. I also was issued the End of Semester bonus in the same week that they said I would get it. Either this company has really changed for the better recently or the people reviewing on here don't follow instructions. Regardless I am glad I joined because it was an easy $275 for doing not much more than I would do anyway. Would highly recommend as a great way to get "free money" during college to ease your financial burdens. If anyone's curious the current payout structure is $50 per study guide and a bonus after the semester if you uploaded at least 8 separate weeks of notes and got at least one download on at least three study guides. To get the bonus you also need to have completed the "success checklist" and entered the exam dates. The bonus is $125 + $75 for each additional course that qualifies. So I made $50 +$50 +$50 + $125 = $275. If I had another course that qualified it would be $275 + $50 + $50 + $50 + $75 for a total of $500.

Cons

Only con for me is that the class size has to preferably be at least 100+ in order to get at least one download per guide in order to qualify.
