Pros
The people in the branches and the back offices are great! They try very hard to be positive and do their jobs well. They are friendly and genuine in their efforts to please the members. They work hard every day and rise to the continual challenges they face, but the morale has been stripped to the core!
Cons
The CEO/DICTATOR has single-handedly managed to derail that morale from the start of his appointment. He restructures the entire organization at the drop of a pin with no concern for his employees. He continually posts positions outside of the CU, without allowing any of the devoted, dedicated employees that have helped build the CU the opportunity to advance. He fires people at random, based on personal feelings, rather than genuine reasons. The CAO is a complete joke, who has more issues than you can imagine and thrives on making people's lives miserable by way of nasty e-mails about petty things. She aligns herself with the Dictator and oversees HR, which is also a joke! The bottom line is that no one in upper management is looking out for the employees! Members complain constantly about the lack of staff, but using the word "understaffed" is not allowed, as ordered by the CEO! "Work smarter, not harder" is his response. The response to making sure that the front end staff never has a line of people is to cut lunches for the staff. The morning and afternoon breaks that are afforded the back end staff have not been seen by the front line in more years than I can count. Then management on the floors have to figure out how to cut their lunches without them exceeding 38.5 hours!
