Easy to get carried away and let your work/life balance get out of whack if not careful. Lots of "startup mindset."

Really fun data science challenges. Freedom to take lead on any project you want. Lots of good data. People are really enthusiastic and passionate about the projects they do.

Typical downsides of working for nonprofit organization. Very little compensation. Difficulty convincing people outside of the organization to team up with you when you have no money to give them.
