-POS is not as good as competitors, but costs more. It seems to be about 10-15 years behind Square and Toast. Hard to sell it as a result, and the churn rate is the highest I’ve seen at any company.
-Pay for sales is half market rate, if not less for AEs. This results in extremely high turnover.
-Senior leadership seems unwilling/unable to bring the product up to date to compete in an extremely saturated marketplace.
-Only vertical we had real success in is smoke/vape shops, which isn’t ideal.
-No opportunities for advancement if you’re in sales.
-No hybrid/remote work opportunities.
-No real sales support so you will be doing a lot of tasks that companies typically have someone to handle for you (collecting documents etc).
-Customer service is almost nonexistent in a lot of cases, so the majority of inbound calls you get will be merchants freaking out that they can’t get support.
