Great career - Operations Supervisor Sun Tran Employee Review

Good pay and great benefits.

Can be dangers at times. Passengers are good for the most part but you will come across rude and danger passengers that will challenge you at every chance they get.

The few things this transit agency offers are it's coworkers who often times are the brightest part of the company.

Unfortunately Sun Tran isn't a place I would recommend for someone who is looking for a fulfilling career. Managers and directors can sometimes fail to see the bigger picture which results in needless amount of work for employees. The company also suffers from a serious lack of interdepartmental communication i.e. one department doesn't know what's going on with the other - extremely disappointing. General managers and assistant managers are pulled in too many directions and therefore have little idea of what changes should be implemented. Often times, these employees are the culprits of the company's overall lack of attention to important issues. Do not expect raises, promotions or employee appreciation in any way. Budget issues are also a serious issue that prevents the company from moving towards a progressive and successful place to work. Overall, if you are looking for a job where you will not be challenged and want to just get by -I would recommend this place (some people look for that type of atmosphere and that's cool!). However if you're looking for a beneficial challenge that will push you and a company that nurtures this, sun tran isn't the place. Good luck in your job hunt!
