Pros
The company has dedicated employees who have been around for years - it was not surprising to see those who had 10 or 15+ year histories with the organization and are very knowledgeable of the growth. A reorganization took place that allowed great benefits to the teams, clients and allowed for maximum efficiency. Little perks and recognition were also provided and contributed to the fun atmosphere.
Cons
Recently Sunflower had its share of challenges. The morale slimmed down as quickly as the employee list did. Most of the friends and co-workers I had are either gone or desperately looking for a way out. The environment is less focused on working efficiently and more likely to scramble for a program worth a few dollars. Employees are pushed to their wits end only to leave at the end of the day depressed and feeling as if there is no way out. The current employees still have not received their performance evaluations from 2008. It doesn't take much for employees to feel appreciated; ways to do this have gradually slipped out of Sunflower's reach. Additionally, opportunities for advancement are virtually impossible. There is little time to truly master tasks as employees are thrown in many different directions.
