Pros

There is opportunity for small commissions based on sales.

Cons

- A majority of the company’s computers are still running on Windows 10 despite many complaints from employees and 3rd party IT vendors. - Membership sales goal minimums must be met or you’ll be placed on corrective action plans & calls to improve or be terminated. - The membership sales goals has employees selling fake memberships. Collecting commission and “hitting goals” by cheating. DMs were told, but turn a blind eye bc of bonuses. - Emails are regularly (and encouraged) to be changed to avoid negative surveys. - Not much room for growth unless they open new locations, someone leaves, or you do outdated knowledge courses & tests for a *tiny* raise. (Less than $1) - Annual reviews barely ever result in more than a 75¢ raise. Even for tenured service employees. - Upper management seems to care when onsite, but things rarely ever change. - Management regularly complains about too many calls, trackers, and lack of resources - both onsite and online via Sunray. - Minimal & out of date training resources produced and provided directly by Sunray. They rely heavily on the big brand’s franchise website/team for training. - Employees feel lack of motivation when dealing with a lack of basic resources to do their job. - Employees working in unsafe conditions: no AC, construction, and mold to name a few. - Some locations have a homelessness problem and have no security cameras onsite, but landlords & corporate do nothing about it. - Lack of corporate employee appreciation. Big prizes available for most, except service employees. Get $10-$25 gift cards after many years with company. - Lack of diversity amongst management & above. - Horrible work/life balance. - Difficulty finding medical providers in-network with the company provided insurance. Different insurance options depending on your position - the higher the position, the better the options. - High turnover in all areas due to many of the reasons above and better opportunities elsewhere with less stress/mess. - Call first to see if the job you are looking into is Actually available.
