Pros
1)Young office with a very relaxed atmosphere 2)Promotes from within 3)Sale reps walk into existing business - residual business 4) Quarterly bonuses 5)The company is growing every year (major opportunities for employees to grow with co.) 6)Industry is not saturated (I never get hung up on) 7)Sunset has a niche that almost makes it an easy sale 8)No micro managing 9)Free Parking and close to public transit 10)MOST Importantly, management told me I would make X my first year and Y my second year and for once they didn't lie or exaggerate. I actually made more than what they said. As long as you make your calls you will make the money they promised you.
Cons
1)Salary is low HOWEVER you will make the difference up in commission ESPECIALLY b/c your walking into a territory that is already producing 6 figures. 2)The office is old and located in Pilsen but not for long. Sales floor is moving to the West Loop in the spring. 3)Instead of dealing with large orders that are few and far between you deal with a constant stream of smaller orders that can get overwhelming at times. If you're organized its easy to manage.
