Pros

ZERO When the sunshine is removed you realise the ‘founder/owner/guru/director/dictator’ actually has a personality problem.

Cons

* the ‘awards’ are fake * everything is done solely to make money * most staff have ‘lived experience’ which is manipulated for your social network. * mandatory ‘marketing meetings’ are a guise to train you in sales, think MLM. * employees are promised ‘flexible working’ which is code for being on call 24/7 * there is no managerial accountability * look at the staff turnover

Pros

I had the pleasure of working at Sunshine Support for 2 years, and I can confidently say it was one of the best professional experiences of my career. The flexibility offered by the company was truly exceptional, allowing for a healthy work-life balance that is hard to find elsewhere. Management was incredibly supportive, always available to provide guidance and assistance whenever needed. Even though I no longer work for Sunshine Support, I left on very good terms and still keep in touch with several team members, which speaks volumes about the positive and collaborative work environment they foster. If you're considering a position at Sunshine Support, I highly recommend it. The company's commitment to employee support, flexible working conditions, and a genuinely friendly team make it a fantastic place to work.

Cons

It's disheartening to see some former employees writing multiple negative and untrue reviews, as my experience and the experiences of many others have been overwhelmingly positive.

Pros

Flexible working hours, supportive team mates where we were all on a mission to support children and young people with special educational needs. As a new employee within with Sunshine Support it felt really good because all my boxes were ticked about what I needed from a job, I felt appreciated and valued especially because I was working for what I was told was a high profile company - “the fastest growing SEND company in the UK”. It felt too good to be true.

Cons

It was too good to be true. I experienced the marketing as misleading and that customers were charged a lot of money for services where some staff had no professional qualifications. I was publicly ‘sold’ to customers as “brilliant”, my workload increased until I was swamped with cases and I felt undermined and belittled when I couldn’t cope.
