Pros

You can learn some skills that are tough to learn in other industries. The company also provides a decent product.

Cons

Sunternal trains their employees with false information about the product and timelines, so that you won't know you're lying when selling to customers. Installations will sometimes take over a year, so don't expect any commissions, because they hope you'll quit before the solar installation, so they can try to steal the money they owe you. The CEO is easily manipulated by the people with whom he surrounds himself.

Pros

The management and team are all sales people so they make you feel really great, and seem trusting, and like they want you to succeed. To a certain extent, I guess they do - but it's all empty.

Cons

You work crazy unpredictable hours, no accrual of PTO, driving everywhere, crap gas mileage reimbursement (way less than you drive), you get sales and WILL NEVER GET PAID ON THEM. They will NOT pay you on commissions. They preach no liens through whatever government program for customer's to get "free solar" and then the clients WILL GET LIENS on their homes - you will be the first person they call and there is no resolution or communication from management or anyone else. This place seemed so promising and was a sore disappointment. DO NOT WORK HERE YOU WILL NOT BE PAID.
