Pros

Some of the people are great which makes the lack of a work and life balance more tolerable than it'd be otherwise. The starting pay is good but just know that is what you'll likely stay at as long as you're there.

Cons

Covid has made a toxic work environment even worse. Turnover is awful to the point where I stopped learning people's names knowing that they'd probably be gone soon. Like many workplaces, the best people are overlooked and the wrong people are rewarded for their bad behavior. No room for career growth or meaningful advancement. Even if your title changes the pay won't increase and you'll just have more responsibility. Not given what you need to succeed. There's no clear direction or long term roadmap. Your assignment given Monday might change two or three times throughout the week. You might work on a project for two weeks only to find out that it's no longer needed because they're going in a different direction and no one thought to inform you. Incompetent leadership leading to bad hires and work culture.

Pros

Working with genuine people and feeling valued for your accomplishments is a breath of fresh air in the solar industry. Suntria makes smart, calculated moves to make sure that they can weather the storms of solar.

Cons

This is a quickly-growing company, so you have to be willing to grow and roll with the punches as the company and the industry change. But if you're up for the challenge it's very rewarding.
