Pros
Some of the people are gems. A very small handful.
Cons
Where do I start. 1. Chaos - I never experienced a time when more than half the room was on the same page. This is due to lack of current documentation, zero company wide ongoing training (unless state mandated), and constant "I never said that". Bring a tape recorder to every meeting. 2. Non-competitive pay/benefits - Compared to other companies, very expensive benefits and unrealistic pay/work load expectations. You'd better get a 2nd job. Also, to them, salaried employees do not get paid for days off, unless you have PTO. However, you can and will be asked to work weekends, unpaid for OT. 3. Unprofessional - Yelling and screaming at employees from the tyrannical regime that currently plagues the company. Current employees know who he is. 4. All bosses, no leaders - "Yes Men" and spineless. If you expect your bosses to go to bat for you, good luck. 6. Lack of work-life balance - Be prepared for a literal "eye roll" from leadership if you take a day off or stay home when you're sick. If you compromise and work from home, you'll be minimized publicly in chat in front of the entire company. 7. Spiders, spiders, spiders - Please watch your head and skin when entering the building. The doorways, hallways, stairs, and ceilings are full of spiders. HUGE spiders, some with bodies the size of a quarter. There are so many others, but you get the picture. Avoid like the plague. If you need a solar job, there are dozens of solid companies with a brighter future.
