They did not promote deserving people within the company. The EPs would hire their friends from outside to top positions.
EPs would only speak to your department when they were reprimanding you. They used to check in with everyone on Fridays, but that went away. You could go 6 months without any acknowledgment of your existence from your bosses.
We got laid off in a department wide zoom where one of the EPs wouldn’t even look in their camera. When we officially got canceled nearly 7 months later, it was in a mass email. This is the respect they give people who worked there for over a decade.
