Pros

Great discount! Great products. Free coffee!

Cons

Forget about praise, you'll never get it! DM needs to spend more time in the stores, not just a few hours. If your a manager, and your not running the store to company expectations, be prepared to catch grief from your DM, but no feedback on how to correct the situation. Training for managers is nil, you're basically thrown to the wolves, and expected to figure it out on your own, or find out how to do something from other managers. If you get a bad review, you will lose your bonus for 6 months, until the next review comes around, that is if you haven't been fired for failure to perform. In other words, be prepared to be set up for failure.

- Very fun work - Get to work with professional chefs - You will actually learn more about cooking in this position than you will taking the classes - Employee discounts

Cons

- Low pay with no opportunity for advancement, not a career path - Sometimes kitchen is understaffed, putting a lot of pressure on you
