Pros

Employee discount, enjoyable products to work with and get to know, get to learn a lot about various brands and items, pleasant atmosphere if you like kitchen items and have good coworkers, some brands sometimes have the chance to win items or products, can be a chill part-time job

Cons

Hours can be all over the place (inconsistent days worked and inconsistent amount of hours worked), not a great POS system (lots of extra buttons to push to do simple tasks and cashier things), sales can be competitive (depends on your store manager), floor leads and managers can earn a sales bonus (but it's very hard to get and rarely ever happens), not great pay

- Very fun work - Get to work with professional chefs - You will actually learn more about cooking in this position than you will taking the classes - Employee discounts

Cons

- Low pay with no opportunity for advancement, not a career path - Sometimes kitchen is understaffed, putting a lot of pressure on you
