You usually have a great kitchen team to work with. You teach the students learning to cook. You learn amazing skills as a chef.

Cons

Schedule changes some times. Not hiring enough staff to make the work easy, it's very physical.

- Low pay with no opportunity for advancement, not a career path - Sometimes kitchen is understaffed, putting a lot of pressure on you
