Pros
Management was always ready and willing to listen to my needs, and they were quick to act on them, always move towards change for the better and growth for employees. It's a fast-paced working environment, and the attitudes and aspirations of the leadership was an inspiration to witness.
The organizational culture encouraged self-sufficiency and entrepreneurship. It even encourages the employees to grow out of the company, to excel personally, and management consistently offers self-growth opportunities... Financial Management Training, Yoga, a Budget for Extracurricular Learning.
I felt well compensated for my time, in traveling to events and eating at amazing restaurants. All in all, this job was a opportunity for me to shine creatively and live a very nice lifestyle around a wonderful organizational community.
Cons
Much of the time, I worked with the company remotely, and I'm sure working in the office would have offered a greater sense of fulfillment and connection with colleagues. I left the job because I was ready to venture on my own, and the compensation I requested was not met. Sometimes, the pressure to complete jobs was intense, and that's to be expected in such an environment. Management kept it "real" when assessing performance, which could be intense, yet they were always sensitive.
