Pros
All the other staff are more than willing to teach you new skills. Their welcoming and operate well as a team. The head Chef is amazing and truly compassionate about what he does. He ensures his team is satisfied and performing well. I had a blast working there! Chef ensured that after my temporary position was over I would have a job to go to. I went to work at a sister company in the kitchen thanks to him and learned so much!
Cons
It’s cold! I know that seems like an obvious environmental setting for the job, but the deep freezer is shockingly cold. Luckily, they keep heavy winter jackets for staff to wear inside. The only other con for me personally was not knowing the Spanish language fluently. It did sometimes make it difficult to understand each other, but always was resolved.
