Working at a start up that’s been acquired means that you still have room to gain experience which was the case for me.

My manager had a lot of things on their plate and while their intent was to support me (no fault of their own) not much attention could be given to a contractor so had to learn everything on my own with minimum support.

Constantly surrounded by great, clever people and everyone is very passionate about what they do. Very friendly and a lot of good team work goes into shipping great products.

The compensation isn't particularly up to par with market, but you get very flexible time and a fun work environment which is what keeps me here.
