Pros
- fun office environment, everyone has friendly jokes together - friendly competition while celebrating each others success - (sales team) clear commission structure - management are visible and hardworking, good for culture - (sales team) lots of headroom with salary/commission with clear targets for progression and future promotion opportunities with company's growth - Directors constantly working to grow the business bringing on new suppliers/negotiating better terms for us - sales manager is great, knows how to motivate people and develop new employees - flexible with unpaid leave if you need it (illness, emergency, etc)
Cons
- lots runs on people's knowledge which is easy to ask for but should be documented for new starters, just to save same questions being asked repeatedly eg comission structures, pay rise targets, internal processes etc - office space, great location but 3 flights of stairs to go to the bathroom, PCs getting slow, we know there are mice in the building but if you keep your area clean, I've seen no evidence lately - office runs on old software, new CRM is coming and will help with some processes - no WFH
