Pros

Schedule flexibility, fairly easy onboarding process, gives you really good experience in educational settings, variety of positions and tons of schools in Los Angeles with work, really fun job if you're trying to get experience with kids in the classroom. Ability to take longer term positions/set up interviews with schools through the app if you're credentialed.

Cons

Hard to find stability in schedule unless you're willing to take any pay rate, but then stability in expected pay becomes difficult. New offers come in at odd times of the night and early morning. No benefits unless working long term assignments during the year.

Pros

Flexible Lots of opportunities Many schools in my area

Cons

Just like the other review, I noticed that around march/ April they dropped the pay significantly?? Some requests are even below minimum wage and I’m confused why they’re even allowing that to happen. I just don’t understand what happened to them I did also have some negative run ins with staffing at some of the school and unfortunately swing will always take their side no matter what. I learned to just escalate the issues to the school district/ superintendents.
