Pros
Company is focused on it's mission above all else. It's product fundamentally matters and saves lives. For engineers, company gives the opportunity to work with bleeding edge technologies (mesh networks, sensor data, algorithms, real time data pipelines, etc...) Product team heavily relies on user and customer feedback, leveraging IDEO-like design process.
Cons
Management is extremely demanding B players are unlikely to last long Company is struggling with creating a new market for it's core product, leading to an expanded product offering, and slower than anticipated sales.
