Pros
You get to travel, and attend events at some beautiful locations. You also get to meet and network with a lot of very kind investors and clients.
Cons
The CEO Andreea Porcelli- she will agree an amount for your services and when you render those services and invoice her... NEVER EXPECT TO BE PAID ON TIME, OR IN FULL. She will always find a reason... she will say yes to your invoice and then when it's due there are always issues. For example: she has to go physically into the bank to make a transfer, there was a digit in the account number which was wrong, she has to convert USD to GBP/EUR, she is traveling, etc.
Once you then hard press her for payment (because ya know, you have bills to pay and a life to live) - THEN there is something wrong with your work. For example: you didn't deliver something, you didn't work the full hours, there was a "misunderstanding" with the amount, etc.
Then there is the disorganization. She micro-manages to an extreme degree, insisting on daily reports and being copied into every single email that you send. She discourages you from forming relationships or friendships with your colleagues. She does not trust you. She will get angry that something wasn't done, when indeed it WAS done AND she was copied into the email, but she receives so many that she cannot keep track.
She also talks poorly about other contractors behind their backs. In fact, I never heard her say one nice thing about anyone. And these were good, talented contractors who were working around the clock to hit her unrealistic deadlines.
I am writing all this because I have effectively worked for free, in fact LOST money, as she does not reimburse expenses either, and I would like to warn others about this. I found the CEO to be manipulative, dishonest, and, I believe, broke.
