This company has been a nightmare for me. After working there several years I was forced into several positions that I did not want. The company has a completely negative culture that demoralizes the best employees. Innovation is met with a brick wall while the easy path is always taken. Questioning management practices were against company culture. Promotions are given to the person who can brown nose. Hard work and dedication get you fired, while lazy work gets you a nice leadership position. Management at Switch is the worst I have ever encountered. They take pride in your work but at the cost of claiming it as their own. If they direct you in the wrong direction, complete blame is put on you as an employee. The leadership hides in the office all day long, giving direction based on inexperience. Instead leading from the front this leadership team pushes from the back. If you happen to trip while being pushed your career has ended. There is no room for error, mistakes are not forgiven. Raises and pay are below average for this company. They give a lot of responsibility while cutting all expenses at the salary level. Raises and promotion is not rewarded to those who work hard but to those who speak the loudest. Don't ask for a raise, you will be told that you are given free drinks so you are well compensated. Triangulation runs office politics
