      Pros

      The development team is small, but comprised of smart developers who work hard to deliver on deadlines

      Cons

      Deadlines are often established without consulting the development team. This results in the dev team having to work at an unsustainable pace for long periods of time to meet demands that weren't realistic when they were made.

      Pros

      Small company that was very agile. You had great influence on the direction of the company without a bunch of red tape. If your ideas were solid, upper management would listen and many times let you run with it.

      Cons

      Syclo no longer exists, we were purchased by SAP a few years back. After the merger, the mojo was lost as people and departments were assimilated into the SAP borg.

      - Company is growing - Company is aligned with recession-proof customers (health care, utilities) - Company is willing to adapt to meet customer needs - Company is expanding to new markets and new platforms

      Cons

      - Lack of vertical movement - Company does not give raises - Lack of promotional opportunities from within - Poor benefits (no 401K matching, high health care costs)
