      Pros

      There's a lot ot be said about being able to work with underperforming schools. The Ace It tutoring program created by Sylvan learning is a solid program as far as books and teacher materials.

      Cons

      Chaotic. Running this program and working with public school administrators can be quite difficult and take up a significant amount of time to establish. SES is unregulated, for the most part, and its longevity relies on NCLB.

      Pros

      I enjoyed the work I did do. Working with the children and helping with teachers was fun and I got to socialize quite often with staff and students.

      Cons

      I was fired for missing one shift because my mother ended up in an accident. I did not get to explain myself for missing said shift and was told to think about my actions for 4 days before being let go. Extremely unprofessional.
