Pros

Immense opportunity for growth as they scale the org Supportive peers Built to be a remote organization (no threat of a "return to office" mandate)

Cons

Leadership has been taken over completely by the VC firm backing the company. Gutted the C-Suite - COO, CEO, Human Capital - all of the top people who made Synapse what it is today, all either demoted or pushed out as VC comes in to blow up the culture.

Thank you for sharing your experience. We appreciate your recognition of the opportunities for growth, the support of your peers and the flexibility that comes with being a remote-first organization. We also understand that times of transition, especially leadership changes, can be challenging. As we scale and evolve, our goal remains the same: to build a stronger, more patient-focused organization while preserving the values and culture that made Synapse what it is. Feedback like yours reminds us to stay grounded in that mission and remain thoughtful about how we grow. Thank you again for your time with us and for your contributions to our journey

Pros

Excellent work-life balance with flexibility to maintain a healthy personal and professional life. Competitive benefits and pay. Fully remote work provides convenience and eliminates commute. Upper management keeps employees informed about company updates and changes. Synapse values employee growth and frequently promotes from within.

Cons

None that I've experienced during my time with this company.

Pros

*What stands out most is the sense of purpose behind the work. It's easy to lose sight of the bigger picture in a lot of jobs, but here you can clearly connect what you're doing day-to-day to the impact it has on patients. *There's also real room to make a difference through continuous process improvement; if you see something that could work better, you're given the space to actually fix it rather than just flag it. *Many roles are remote too, so there's a good amount of flexibility in how and where you work.

Cons

The pace moves fast, and because the Synapse is growing, processes are often being built, and then rebuilt, as things evolve. It's not a bad thing, but if you don't handle change well or prefer a lot of established structure, this could be frustrating.
