Pros

Synaptop is a great place to work. The staff are really nice and the management seem to care about the workers. It was really nice to feel valued, the management really take the time to get to know the staff, they are genuine, and they are willing to give advice in both business and non business matters. Synaptop has that typical start up vibe, but they are growing fast. I strongly recommend working her if you want to be part of something from the ground up.

Cons

Because this place is a start up it can sometimes be disorganized, but they are growing out of that. Perhaps this has changed since I was there.

Pros

This company gives senior and intermediate developers many good opportunities to work on the latest technology. Junior developers have to do more basic tasks, but if they are good they soon move ahead. The culture here is good, the staff are friendly, the management really care about the worker's, they wanted us to feel valued. They provide health insurance and the location is really great. They hold daily stand ups so we are never left wondering what our coworkers are working on or what problems they have.

Cons

This company needs more people, when I was working there they had us do too many things at once. I have heard that this has changed, they hired more people after I left, and my friends at the company tell me they are hiring even more. I think another problem here is that the company is working with a new concept so it is hard to compare it to others.

Pros

The coworkers are awesome. Cool and interesting people. Pretty diverse workplace, and there's a lot of opportunity to try out new things. Since the company doesn't really have much of a direction, they'll let you run with whatever ideas you come up with. When I was leaving they didn't have an office, so they became a remote company accidentally. Not sure if they'll get an office in the coming months.

Cons

Zero direction. Management wants to do a million things and for some reason doesn't trust outside services. So while the product could be developed by 5-6 people, they instead have ~15 rebuilding things that already exist. And sure they cost money. But they're cheaper than hiring a developer.
