Some really wonderful people work at this company.

It is not an enjoyable place to work by any means. The first issue is the lack of training and structure. Most people are left to figure things out on their own, and there is not much guidance from anyone in charge. It creates a lot of confusion early on and makes simple tasks harder than they should be. Communication is inconsistent, so you rarely get clear direction. Teamwork is limited, and people mostly focus on getting through their own work. There is no real system in place to help new employees settle in. It ends up feeling disorganized and stressful right from the start. Another problem is how feedback and questions are handled. Speaking up does not always feel welcome, and it can lead to tension. People often stay quiet just to avoid issues. There is not much openness to discussion or improvement. Mistakes are not handled in a supportive way, which makes learning difficult. Over time, this discourages people from trying to improve things. It creates a work environment where employees feel they need to be careful about what they say. The leadership style also adds to the frustration. Decisions often feel rushed and not well explained. The owners come across as strict and unpredictable in how they manage things. There is no clear long term plan that employees can rely on. Changes happen without much warning, which makes it hard to keep up. Trust in management is low because direction keeps shifting. This leaves many people feeling uncertain about where things are going. Overall, the workplace feels unstable and poorly organized. There is little effort to build a supportive or consistent environment. People are expected to adjust quickly without proper tools or guidance. Morale is low because employees do not feel heard or supported. It is hard to stay motivated when there is no clear path forward. I *seriously* recommend that you find another job.

Pros

Not stressful – I’m not being watched over my shoulder, which I appreciate. Friendly and supportive people. Managers check in regularly and give useful feedback. Health insurance, PTO, and 401k match. Flexibility with my schedule whenever I need it. Plus, we have team activities that keep everyone engaged.

Onboarding was a bit rushed.

Pros

Some people genuinely wanted to make things better, which made it sadder that the system wouldn't let them.

Cons

They had DEI posters everywhere and monthly newsletter about 'inclusive culture' but when it came to hiring and promotions? Nothing changed. The same patterns repeated constantly- diverse candidates made it through interviews but rarely got offers, senior leadership stayed exactly the same, and opportunities went to whoever already fit the mold. The mandatory diversity trainings were just theater, you'd sit through an hour of talking points and then back to business as usual. People of color and women I worked with all complained about being sidelined for projects and promotions, and the company's response was to schedule more meetings instead of actually changing how decisions got made. It got tiresome pretending this was progress when nothing structural ever shifted. They wanted the credit for caring about diversity without doing any of the hard work.
