Pros

Staff are great company has great potential

Cons

They work on a weekly roster even though they tell you it’s F/N once the roster is up on icare it cannot be confirmed until you receive an email. You need to constantly check icare as even tho you have a confirmed email with your shifts it can be changed without notice and shifts are removed even tho you have confirmed them. It’s a great place to work but to be able to plain your personal day to day living or future personal appointments or requirements you are unable to do, you cannot plain your finances as you can have 3 to 5 shifts one week to one shift the following, it is very common to have 5 days work and get ready for your shift to log on and find they have all been removed and you only have 1 or 2 shifts due to the constant rostering issue’s. If you are the sole financial provider in your home this is not the company to work for, if you are the second provider and are after just a lift to the sole provider then this company is great to work for, staff are great and clients are beautiful

Pros

4-day week is a big plus. Work with some really good people, and the projects are actually interesting.

Cons

The company promotes itself as employee-owned, but in reality decision-making is still heavily influenced by hierarchy. Junior team members see concerns ignored. Favouritism still exists, especially for those friendly with certain board members. Processes and rules are disregarded because they know they'll get away with it. PDPs feel largely meaningless, as progression often appears to be decided in advance with little opportunity to influence outcomes, regardless of performance. While the business talks about being open and honest, in practice questions around pay, progression, or decision-making are often shut down and labelled as non-negotiable, with an undertone of - if you don't like it leave. Pay rises aren't distributed fairly. Some managers are able to secure stronger increases for their reports, while others receive minimal recognition despite significant contribution. People talk about their increases, and it's obvious this happens. Promotions are often based on popularity too. There is an inconsistent approach to how staff are treated, which goes against the idea of a fair and transparent workplace.

Pros

Values. People. 4 day week. Support. Having moved on I have realised it’s rare to have these things in a company!

Cons

Sometimes tough to make the 4 day week work and manage work to fit around it but was totally worth it when you did.
