Pros
Employee Wellness program is excellent. The Good Growth Plan is a wonderful concept if it is being practiced. To feed 3 billion people is a challenge and increasing biodiversity are values that I believed in so a thought it was a good match.
Cons
The work load expected far exceed an individual capabilities working a 40 hour salary position. The safety and health aspects are a full time position in itself. Adding the responsibilities of Environmental Engineering for two plant locations is excessive. It is work place abuse. The use of 3rd party Contractors add to stress due to the requirement of constant training. The 3rd party employees realize that getting a full time position with Syngenta is not possible so they quit. The system manipulates people and is all designed for profit. The location you work at will decide whether or not you can complete your work. I was the 5th HSE Lead at a Washington location in 8 years. They burn people out quickly.
