Pros
Surprisingly the interview process was the most interesting part of this job. The pay when you facilitate is 50 (even though their application said 50-100) but you’re going to end up probably working free hours due to them limiting your max hours per class.
Cons
The orientation and “training” is a joke. There’s a bunch of reading material that is spread in their wiki page full of garbage. You get paid 25 an hour (which isn’t terrible) but they basically expect you to work for free since they only allow a max amount of billable hours. In the end of the day I would say if you want to be proficient in the job you’d need to at least put in an hour of free work for every hour of paid work (basically making 12.50 an hour). This company definitely seems like a cult at times. They all think they’re going to change the world and be the disrupters in education, but in reality these kids may be better off playing video games on their Xbox or PlayStation.
