Pros

It was a big mistake.

Cons

They lie, lie, lie to people.I worked for Systemax SSC in Hungary but this was a big mistake. If anybody has a chance to avoid this company i propose to not work for systemax.Chaos, lie, no structure, no improvment, low salary(of course Vice presidents have very good package). Vice Presidents affraid to report any problem, issue to CEO because he does not like negative newses, so they lie to him everything is fine and goes smoothly. VPs are a reall survivers.Only one motiviation exist for HR and VPs: if you do not do as we want we fire you! They have a plane who will be fired in next couple of months but they lies to employee or not inform them they are in risk. There are a big corruption in Budapest office. They buy lot of device, tools, services much more expensive than it is available on the market. There is no real tender in case of any purchasing. Some of the 3rd party or supplier is one of the best friend of some of the VP. Of course the VPs have very good money from this. Also ther are lot of overtime which is not paid and against to local law.

Pros

Very professional, knowledgeable co-workers, who are dedicated to contributing to the success of an incredibly diverse company. There are many long term employees of 10, 20 years. Compensation and perks are great! Comprehensive Medical insurance coverage is offered and can included dental and eye coverage, if desired. Discounts are provided for non-smokers. 401k provides a generous employer "match". On-site gym, business casual dress code, Friday "jeans" and welcoming atmosphere add to the positive working environment. Innovative technology and proprietary software add to a positive work experience. Good location, headquartered on the North Shore of Long Island. Close to all.

Cons

Medical Insurance Benefits cost (premiums and out of pocket) is higher than expected, but there are more than 2 choices to choose from and most doctors are included in the "in-network" less expensive plan. Additionally, there is a bare-bones "afordable care act" plan that provides the least expensive option. I would not call any of these plans "Cadillac" plans, as out of pocket expenses can be as high as deductible each year, in addition to the premium. A 61 day waiting period is long - and depending when you begin employment can be 2 months and 3 weeks!
