Pros
Lots of experience. Very, very quickly. They don't care if you have training, education, or experience. So a great place for starters in IT. Most coworkers were cool and easy to get along with, despite chaos and stress. Pay was okay for someone with no experience.
Cons
Everything else. This was a nightmare scenario even before the pandemic. They are a revolving door on everything. Employees, clients, tickets - everything was churn and burn. Nearly everyone was expendable. Sales oversells, the desk is constantly swamped and underdelivering, despite having extremely talented employees. Users were constantly annoyed when having to deal with us because they didn't expect help in a timely or effective manner. I was hired to schedule and dispatch techs, and coordinate ticket load, and within 3 days (after 1.5 days training with an overworked Level 1), I was remote accessing user machines and being fed lines of lies to keep customers from cancelling. During my time there, this desk was absolutely crushed by the workload, all hours, every day. Health issues are rampant on the desk and I don't think the work environment is a coincidence. I would never recommend someone work here unless they were looking for fast and dirty experience and didn't mind working themselves out of their minds for 6-12 months. Any longer than that I couldn't recommend to anyone in good conscience.
