exhausting with unhelpful management - Team Leader T.K. Maxx Employee Review

zero work/life balance as i still recieved phone calls and messages about work on my days off. benefits used to be higher pay but don't reflect workload anymore especially whn picking up after other TLs that dont do their jobs properly- Bonuses are taxed. unapproachable and rude upper management. micromanaging, management disagreements in unhealthy ways that make you feel belittled and small. I used to love working here as an associate (moderately) but now I longer felt listened to, considered, welcomed. Had an issue with being assaulted by a customer and wasn't even asked if I was okay by store manager or AM, and had to push to get it reported because they thought I was 'dramatic'. As FC when completing college degree was nearly brought to tears by management when i asked to drop down back to associate for period of time to complete dissertation. I was met with rude, lack of concern or consideration from management who said 'you're going to be here anyway, why does it matter what you're doing", disregarding my request and feelings. It's a shame only one/two people in the wrong places can truly ruin a potentially lovely environment.
