Pros
Very busy environment with lots to do. You will never be standing there doing nothing. Team leaders and managers are very helpful in training you on whatever department you work on (e.g. cashier, changing room, and stocking different departments). These managers are very patient and will continue to explain things, even if you do them wrong.
Cons
The busy environment can be overwhelming at times, and sometimes you have multiple tasks which you have to complete all at once (e.g. two customers asking for queries at the same time, whilst serving another customer). Another con of working at Tk Maxx is that some of the customers can be abusive and dangerous, if you are working in a less affluent area. Always learn how to diffuse these situations and be ready to call management if something goes wrong.
